an authentic old African stone 

Bracelet - Armlet - Bangle

called Manogokaka or Kugukaka by the Mossi People,

made of ancient stone / marble / granite, black with white veins, 

known as Kaka from the Hombori and Bandiagara regions,

worn by populations from Western Sahara region, Mali, Burkina Fasso and Ghana

by tribes as Dogon, Mossi, Fulani, Sonhai, Fra Fra and Tuareg, 

also adopted by northern populations as Sorkos, Bosos, Gabibi, Markas, etc.,

worn as a Talisman for luck and fortune for warriors and protection for those left at home, bangles were prized possessions and as such were valuable items for trade, 

seen it's appearance we think it is made pre 1900 

diameter inside: circa 7 cm / circa 2.7 inch,

diameter outside: circa 11,5 cm / circa 4.5 inch,

weight: circa 240 gr.

condition: firm, no cracks, signs of age and use,
