The Inficon 712-700-G1 power stick is a replacement unit for Inficon Compass and D-TEK CO2 refrigerant leak detectors and contains a rechargeable NiMH battery that provides at least five hours of operation when fully charged. Its wire leads with miniature electrical connector attach to the leak detector's circuit board and charge via the leak detector's AC adapter. The power stick requires ten hours charging time when newly installed or fully depleted. It does not need to be fully charged to operate or fully discharged to recharge since it will charge while the leak detector is operating on AC power. Inficon manufactures gas analysis, measurement, and control equipment in refrigeration, utilities, emergency response, lighting, and research and development. The company, founded in 2000, is headquartered in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland.
