Lot #AEW: Touch And Go Records 1980s Catalogs, Flyers, Receipts, Hand-Written Note

Origins: I did a good bit of mail order record shopping from Touch and Go in the second half of the 1980s. I accumulated a few catalogs and other pieces of memorabilia then that ended up getting stashed in a box for all these years. I've decided it's time to release some of these memorabilia items and see where they fly.  

Comments: The photos section contains images of all of the pages of these items. The catalogs are mostly all around 8 1/2 x 11 inches. Some of these items have the old Dearborn, Michigan address and some have the Chicago address.

Condition: I think you can see most everything you want to know about condition in the photos provided. Zoom in and take a look. I'm not going to point out every little flaw in words. If you need more information, feel free to ask a question.

Parts List / Descriptions:

  • Single sheet with music on one side and T-shirts on the other: Flat - never folded.The Butthole Surfers "Blind Eye Sees All" video tape is one of the items offered.
  • 4 Page catalog with 1987 receipt tucked inside: Nice, with light wear. Flat, never folded.
  • 4 Page catalog with hand-print art on front: This one must have been sent in an envelope. It has been folded in thirds, but I'm storing it flat now. The condition is excellent. Of course there are creases from being folded.
  • Sales Receipt from 1986: Nice shape carbon copy invoice. About 8 1/2 x 7 inches on pink paper.
  • Sales Receipt from 1987: Nice shape carbon copy invoice. About 8 1/2 x 7 inches on pink paper. Has a crease from being folded. Also has a hand-written note explaining why there was a delay in shipping the Rembrandt Pussyhorse CD.
  • 1986 Hand-written letter: This one answered a question I had asked about the Rembrandt Pussyhorse cassette release. Nice shape. Folded in thirds.
  • 4 page catalog with order form on front: Nice shape. I noticed a few small stains on the T-shirts page. Sent to me folded and it has remained folded. 
  • 4 page catalog + Killdozer sheet: This was sent to me folded and stapled, so there are staple holes and fold creases as well as the mailing label and a little wear from mail travel. It remains folded. The Killdozer sheet is printed on one side. The 4 page catalog has a Laughing Hyenas page on the back.

These will be shipped flat with sturdy carboard padding for protection, so don't worry about a thing. If signature tracking is used, the postal carrier will be required to hand the package over face to face.

I promise to pack your item securely, no matter what it is. Everything I ship gets packed well, so don't worry about a thing. 

If appropriate I will add insurance coverage. Sometimes I will add signature tracking (USA) when your item is shipped. Signature tracking ensures that the postal service doesn't leave your valuable item unattended on your doorstep out in the sun or rain - it has to be handed over face to face. If you order something rare and/or worth a bit, be prepared to have to accept delivery in person.

When multiple items are shipped together, I can almost always give you a better deal on the shipping cost compared to the individual shipping costs. I promise to give you the best rate possible based on the items purchased and the shipping method required.

For "Buy It Now" items (most of what I offer), simply add each item that you want to your shopping cart. When ready to commit to buying, request a total from me from your cart and I'll send an invoice as soon as I can. Since I'm not a computer and I do other things like sleep and take the dogs for walks, you might not receive an immediate response, but I will get back to you as soon as possible. If you decide to pay for items you want individually instead of requesting a total from the shopping cart, I will promptly send back whatever money I can for a shipping discount.
  • Some items are not compatible for combined shipping. 
  • Combining shipping might require changing the shipping method or increase packaging materials expense. 
  • A few items that I offer are not eligible for combined shipping. 
  • Of course it is ok to ask about combined shipping costs up front. You have to tell me exactly what you intend to buy and where it will be shipped. I can't always give an exact cost, but I can at least give you an estimate.
  • I reserve the right to limit the number or total value of items that I'm willing to send in a single package.
  • For international sales I use ebay's international shipping program. Combined shipping depends on the ebay shipping program rules in place at the time of shipment. It is possible that no combined shipping discount is available for international orders.
