Description:
This is a beautifully detailed loco featuring NEM couplings, sprung buffers, authentic blackened metal valve gear and coupling rods, blackened metal wheel rims, fitted 'copper' steam pipes, separately applied boiler handrails; a lovely, coloured cab interior as I have tried to show in one of the photos, and an impressive detailing pack.
The box is not quite perfect - that is a tint tear in one corner at the red end and the labeled end has faded a bit.
Please note that the factory just push fit Thompson L1 buffer stems into the locating holes on the buffer beams - if you knock or jolt them then may very well fall out. They are simple to re-fit. I would recommend a very carefully applied, tiny spot of clear adhesive, like Super Glue.
We have test run this loco and can confirm that it runs well. Being test run only, it is of course in new condition.
