This kit has been in the garage for about a year since I moved.  It might be a little dirty... But I have checked it over.  No big activity I can see but always error on The site of safety and do a quarantine. With your yarn, or a few days in the freezer. Or leave it in your hot car over the summer just to make sure. Everything would be fine once washed, but bugs are really good at hiding. Smoke-free.
