Viewlex Slide & Filmstrip Projector V-22C w/ Original Case, Bulb & Both accessories ~ VINTAGE
Description: This is a vintage slide and filmstrip projector known for its reliability and ability to show both slides and filmstrips. It's
a specialized projector with an airjector motor allowing smooth film
advancement, making it suitable for professionals and enthusiasts alike. The V-22C is part of the Viewlex brand, known for quality and durability. It comes with a rigid case, making it a good collectible item for vintage movie and photography enthusiasts. FYI, the lens is marked: "Viewlex Inc., L.I.C. N.Y. Made in U.S.A. - 5 in. E.F. Luxtar RS Anastigmat ƒ: 3.5 V Coated"
Interesting fact: Starting
as a joint venture in 1961 with Bell & Howell producing automatic filmstrip
projectors for schools, ViewLex later expanded into Buddah Records, Electro
Sound, and other divisions. The company experienced bankruptcy in 1976, leading to the sale of Buddah Records.
Condition: Used but not abused. The leather strap handle on the case lid is cosmetically worn, but remains structurally sound, and the two rear rubber feet are missing from the case bottom. The original boxes for the 300w bulb and slide attachment have also seen better days, but are present. The projector itself is in excellent condition and fully functional. Unfortunately the OEM "Operation Manual" is MIA although I found a few pages online which are shown herein and will be included in printed form.
