1. Go to your car and turn on the iDrive system.
2. Press the NAV button.
3. Open the navigation menu, then go to Settings.

4. Start your car and insert the USB into the USB port.
5. The system will detect the update and prompt you to continue.
6. Enter the FSC code when prompted.
7. The update will begin automatically and may take 30–90 minutes.
8. You can drive the vehicle while the update is running.
