The 1932 Playoff Game was necessary to break the season-standing tie between the Chicago Bears and Portsmouth Spartans. The Bears won that game 9-0 on an 80-yard field indoors at Chicago Stadium. The Portsmouth Spartans moved about 300 miles north from southern Ohio to Detroit 2 years later and then won the NFL title in 1935 as the Detroit Lions.

The 1932 program photo covers in this listing show a number of watermarks ("william sather") in an attempt to protect them from any unauthorized use/ distribution. Obviously, this watermark is not shown in the actual photo sent to the winning bidder.
