For help with patches:

Settings for hat presses.  I personally use 270F and 45 seconds on all my patches WITH a silicone matt covering the patch.  NOTE:  the 2x3 patches with stitching in the brown rectangle, brown oval, and gray rectangle, all need 295F for 45 seconds.  Results will vary depending upon equipment and user.

If ironing on, I recommend using the lowest setting with a thin towel, or silicone matt if you have one.  If it doesn't stick, it's not hot enough.  Once you do get it to stick press another few seconds.
