The main bearings in this kit are the same version of the popular Si bearings but has a factory-applied Polymer Coating consisting of solid lubricants and ceramic additives to improve the anti-friction and wear resistance properties of the bearings. This coating is required to provide proper startup protection for newer engines with the auto start/stop feature.
