  • The alembic copper pot still condenser is a crucial component in the distillation process, primarily used to cool and condense alcohol vapors back into liquid form.
  • This Copper pot still condenser is a modular style design using all tri-clamp clamps and seals. It consist a 2"-1.5" reducer with thermometer, a 135C 1.5 inch elbow, a 30cm long 1.5 inch long condenser, a 45C 1.5 inch elbow and a copper collection cups for collecting spirits.
  • The principle of the condenser is when the vapors pass through the condenser tube, heat is transferred to the surrounding cooling water, causing the vapors to condense into liquid alcohol.
  • Copper is preferred because it reacts with sulfur compounds, improving flavor by removing unwanted harshness.
  • It also has excellent thermal conductivity, ensuring efficient cooling.
  • To compare with SS Alembic copper condenser, this condenser has much larger area of cooling area and condensing efficiency because of there's muti-pipes inside the condenser and there's sufficient cooling water around the tube.
  • With large area of cooling and heat exchanger you may run the distillation much faster than SS Alembic condenser.
  • With modular design, it will compatible with 2"sight glass/Gin basket and can add-on more components like copper onion, sight glass or sight glass with bubble plates below it.
