Mt St Helen's Sculptures Genuine Volcanic Ash Bear Grouping (S3) ~ HTF VTG 1981

Description: Cast of a man made authentic ash resin, this assortment of grizzlies deserves to be prominently displayed. A recessed and illuminated wall cavity would be perfect!

FYIBears are carnivoran mammals of the family Ursidae.  Theyare classified as caniforms, or doglike carnivorans. Although only eight species of bears remain, they are widespread, appearing in a wide variety of habitats throughout most of the Northern Hemisphere and partially in the Southern Hemisphere.

Interesting fact: At 8:32 a.m. PDT on May 18, 1980, Mount St. Helen's, a volcanic peak in Southwestern Washington State, suffered a massive eruption initiated by a 5.0 magnitude earthquake, killing 57 people and devastating some 210 square miles of wilderness.

Condition: Pristine in every manner.  There are NO chips, scuffs, scratches, stains, repairs, discoloration or any other cosmetic / structural issues. The tri-color oval foil label remains attached to the bases and certifies: "Mt. St. Helen's Sculptures™ ~ Evergreen Trading Co ~ Seattle, WA U.S.A. ~ Crafted by Hand with Genuine volcanic ash".
