In 1936, C.S. Yang assembled his very first radio with the dream of connecting with the world through music and sound. He was then conscripted into the military as a communications officer, where he developed a deeper passion for radio innovation. 38 years later, SANGEAN was established as a brand and manufacturer in 1974 with the hope of sharing that same dream with the world through his innovations. In the subsequent years, the baton has been passed on to the second generation, helping SANGEAN become a household name worldwide, with branch offices set up in California, Hong Kong, and Venlo. To supply a growing demand, our factory in New Taipei City was also expanded into Dongguan. Though some may say the radio is a thing of the past, we believe that it remains a timeless medium that plays a part in every scenario. The beauty amplified in sound waves holds no prejudice towards age or group and can be produced effortlessly by our products. SANGEAN's future is driven not only by demand, but also by innovations setting in motion a new revolution.
