This adorable and fun single curtain is handmade from over 20 different vintage scarves affixed to a tension rod for use in a single window. The tension rod spans from 28 inches across to a max of 38.5 inches, when fully extended. There are rubber stoppers on either end to ensure a snug fit without damaging your window trim or paint. Easy to install, no tools or assembly needed, just twist the adjustable end until you hav extended it to the width you desire then gently work it into the window frame (fit should be as snug as possible to prevent slipping).

All of the scarves are vintage and are affixed to the rod so they can be spread out to your liking, sliding freely on the rod. At its longest point the curtain hangs approx 36 inches long and at its shortest point approx 28 inches long. When the scarves are spread out more, they allow more light to shine through them, as many are sheer or burn out material. When they are pushed close together they are nearly opaque because of the density.

At least one scarf is designer (Ellen Tracy), each one is unique. They are all very colorful, some are satin, silk, woven, cotton, velvet, gauzy, chiffon, etc. There are floral patterns, animal print, polka dots, stripes, checks, paisley, butterflies, etc and several have subtle metallic threads run through them. They are tied onto the tension rod, knotted at the top.

This curtain could be hung in any single window of your home and be a vibrant accent and interesting conversation piece. Its boho/eclectic style is unique, OOAK!

It would also be perfect for a teachers classroom door if it has a window, a sewing room, a craft room, a clothing or fabric or craft store window, a boutique window, a theaters wardrobe department or playhouse window, a bathroom or dressing room window, cute and colorful accent in a kitchen or laundry room, the possibilities are endless! This will give any area a creative flair and is very eye catching.

This would also make a great gift for mom, grandma, a teacher, or any friend or family member who appreciates artistic touches accenting their favorite places!

*****Due to the nature of vintage items, there may be small imperfections but nothing that would be noticable. There is one pic that shows a small hole in one of the scarves, about the size of my pinky fingertip. There’s an arrow I drew in pointing it out. This is the only flaw I found and the scarf was like that when I purchased it. It is completely unnoticeable when the curtain is hanging but I wanted to point it out.

****these scarves were all purchased from different places and because they are pre-owned and vintage, I cannot guarantee the previous owner didn’t have a pet or smoke. They hav all been cleaned before I made the curtain and my home is pet and smoke free.
