For sale is a unique collector's plate, issued in 1988. This plate is an original work by the artist Alexander Kovalev, inspired by A.S. Pushkin's poem "The Tale of the Dead Princess and the Seven Knights." It is part of the second series of collectible plates titled "Russian Fairy Tales," created in the traditional miniature painting style of the famous Palekh art school.
