This authentic Muonionalusta Meteorite End Cut originates from Norrbotten, Sweden. It is scientifically classified as a type IVA (Of) fine octahedrite and is estimated to have impacted northern Scandinavia approximately one million years ago. It was first discovered in 1906.
The Widmanstätten pattern seen in this meteorite is a natural arrangement of nickel-iron crystals formed over millions of years as the metal slowly cooled—something that can’t be replicated on Earth.
