From the very beginning of the game, one of the most used cards has been this simple offensive Battle Action. Interesting fact: this was the second image Carl ever painted for L5R (and the second professional fantasy image he ever did)! Only "Ogre Bushi" preceded it. This is your chance to get an entire play set in the ultimate style!

This card is SHADOW signed in metallic gold over black ink by the artist Stacy Drum. Stacy was one of the original artists of Legend of the Five Rings, illustrating such classics as “Toku,” “Torrential Rain,” and “Iaijutsu Challenge.” Stacy still creates beautiful art today, having a rich history in fantasy and gaming.

Legend of the Five Rings launched at Gen Con 1995 and Imperial Edition was released through distribution later that same year. The CCG went on to more than 100 expansions over the course of 20 years, and fans of the game became enthralled by the story that they themselves could help direct by winning tournaments. The setting, Rokugan, is still alive and well today in the form of many other books and games.

Since artists have always been such an integral part of CCGs, I want more people to have access to cards signed by the artists that made the game possible. Perhaps this was always a favorite of yours or perhaps the artist has done other work that is meaningful to you. I want to share the joy!
