I’m not a trumpet player, but I could get a good sound from it. All valves appear to function. Plays, but should be examined by a professional repair tech.
The Vintage 1952 Conn Pan American Elkhart Mod. 58b Bb Trumpet is a classic piece of musical equipment with a rich history. Made in the United States with brass bell and leadpipe materials, this trumpet features piston valves and a 4.5" bell diameter. The Bb key and lacquered brass finish add to the overall charm of this vintage instrument, making it a desirable choice for musicians and collectors alike.
Fair condition overall. Some wear on the laquer, but the horn has a gorgeous rich deep gold color. Some very minor dents throughout. Valves operate smoothly. Tuning slides all are free except the 2nd valve adjustment. I’m a sax player, so obviously I can’t test this trumpet the way it should be. No case included. What you see is what you get.
Very similar to the Conn Director 14b trumpet.
