This is used and has great patina on it I have not cleaned or polished this at all. I did install a new rayon cloth electric cord, this looks very similar to the original, and it does work properly.  I have not removed any dents or dings from the shade, as it adds more character to the lamp. One of the corners on the backside of the clip is not perfectly straight anymore, it does not affect the use of the clip or light at all.
