The Lint Screen is a Whirlpool dryer part. Located inside the air exhaust duct, it safely captures and contains stray lint before it escapes the dryer cabinet and ventilation system. 

The layer screen traps built-up lint clumps during drying cycles. This prevents potentially dangerous lint accumulation elsewhere over time from multiple loads of laundry.
