In 2017, my wife wanted to surprise me with "mai" very own tiki mug... one that resembled me. So she got in touch with world renowned Tahiti Gil and he graced my wife with a sketch of my very own tiki... "Mai Tiki." 

Unfortunately, it proved too difficult to have sculpted by a pro, so she tried to do it herself. I thought her attemp was cool, but she threw it in the trash. :( 5 years later, I came across Gil's sketch and took matters in to my own hands. 

With the help of ADR Studios and some additional sketches by yours truly, we had a 3D model. After printing a couple of prototypes, I was able to get the sample in the hands of Ron House at House of Modern Antiquities where he put his ceramic skills to work and came up with some GORGEOUS glaze options.
