I have hundreds of books to sell, so to streamline the process, all are being listed with a condition description of “acceptable“ (unless stipulated otherwise), using stock photos where possible, using a tiered pricing structure. In reality, many of the books I’m selling would in fact be listed as “good“ or “very good“ but the effort involved in individualising each listing is too great given these are being sold for a family member from his private collection, and given the price point.

The condition of the books, unless stated otherwise, will feature the following:

- A tight binding such that the book holds a good shape and the original integrity of the book is intact.

- If a hard cover, the original dust jacket.

- Some scuff marks and/or minor dents to the cover and/or dust jacket (if hard cover), and minor to typical creasing to the spine from reading.

- No internal markings or highlighting/underlining, nor any identifying marks on the inside cover/first page etc.

- The original price tag and/or original seller’s barcode tag fixed on the cover.

- Foxing and/or staining to the edges of the cover, pages, and/or dust jacket (if hard cover).

- The faint hint of having come from the house of a smoker.

In relation to this book in particular and in addition to the comments above – I suspect this book has never been read.

Shipping - the item will be shipped as securely as possible e.g., wrapped in bubblewrap if a parcel service is selected. If a letter service is selected then the parcel needs to be kept within certain dimensions which will preclude the use of bubble wrap.
