Vintage, original (ca. 1940) Austrian 48.5" x 36.25" propaganda poster for the Andreas Hofer Bund, the South Tyrolean anti-Nazi resistance movement operating in the Alpine border region between Austria and Italy. This incredibly rare and historically important poster is being offered in excellent, as-found and unrestored condition with bright colours and tight stone-litho printing, and no problematic stains, tears or paper loss -- but with a tear and paper chip in the bottom-left margin, and light edge and fold wear from storage and handling.
