What is the different between IR and RF control ?

The control distance , IR control only can control in 0-1 Meter, Usually you also need point to the receiver to control it .

RF 17 key remote, it can control in 0-10 Meters , you don't need point the receiver to control it .

The RF controller is better than IR controller.
