Here we have a very nice, original 1961 Ford truck AM radio complete with correct knobs & mounting bracket.  Part number for this radio is 12BT and it was made by Bendix.  It's a combination of tubes (2) and transistors so it does need time for the tubes to warm up after turning on.  This radio may also fit other years (1961-66) and models (Econoline, Bronco) so do your homework first to make sure before bidding.  The last photo shows interchange info from a Hollander Interchange manual.  I don't believe this style radio was used in the later model trucks as stated.  I could be wrong.  Maybe it depends on the model of truck.  This radio has been electronically restored and is working very well.  It was allowed to run for many hours after the work was done.  A video of it playing is included.  A page showing the work that was completed is included along with the replaced parts.  I will also provide a photocopy of the Bendix service info for this radio.  It's important to adjust the antenna trimmer once the radio is hooked up to the car's antenna.  All radio functions work as intended without issue.  Dial light is functional as a new #57 bulb was installed.  Dial indicator is still very bright in color.  The chrome bezel is in very nice condition with no pitting.  There are just some very light scratches which are hardly noticeable.  The dial lens is very clear and in nice condition also.  The speaker plug with wiring is included.  The power lead still has the original connector,  The original knobs are in very nice condition.  When removing/installing the tuning shaft be careful as it is a tight fit.  The casing is super clean with no rust issues.  This will make for a very nice looking, correct unit for your early Ford truck restoration project.  I will have, or currently have, other Ford/Mustang/Falcon/misc. radios in varying condition for sale.  I have sold many radios over the years through eBay and try to describe them as accurately as possible.  I take pride in my work and strive for 100% customer satisfaction.  I believe my feedback is a good reflection of these efforts.  Please add $15.85 for domestic shipping (insurance will be included).  Any excess postage will be refunded.  International bidders welcome (except for Germany at this time).  Please contact me with any questions you may have.  Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
