This card is signed in metallic gold ink by the artist Chris Arneson. Chris has illustrated dozens of cards for CCGs, including Warlord, Legend of the Five Rings, and World of Warcraft, as well as hundreds of illustrations throughout gaming.

Legend of the Five Rings launched at Gen Con 1995 and Imperial Edition was released through distribution later that same year. The CCG went on to more than 100 expansions over the course of 20 years, and fans of the game became enthralled by the story that they themselves could help direct by winning tournaments. The setting, Rokugan, is still alive and well today in the form of many other books and games.

Since artists have always been such an integral part of CCGs, I want more people to have access to cards signed by the artists that made the game possible. Perhaps this was always a favorite of yours or perhaps the artist has done other work that is meaningful to you. I want to share the joy!
