This beautiful parrot has the Millefiori pattern. Millefiori is various colored glass rods fused together in various patterns and embedded in transparent glass. The body of the parrot has a base color of red with a spray of silver over the top. Interspersed is the Millefiori pattern. Typical Millefiori blown glass is made as paperweights, but he is quite substantial and might be considered a figurine. He would be a gorgeous addition to any desk or shelf. He seems to have an air of regalness to him.
