- Ensure the flat edge of the swivel body is closest to the receiving body.
- Mark the fixing holes with a pencil.
- Drill 2 mm pilot holes and secure the swivel body with the provided screws.
- Test the Lock:
- Check that the swivel arm engages with the receiving body.
- Ensure the lock does not interfere with window operation.
- Deadlocking:
- Rotate the swivel handle 180 degrees to engage the receiving body.
- If the lock does not engage, check window alignment and adjust as needed.
Maintenance Guidelines:
- Perform maintenance every 12 months or more frequently based on use and environment.
- Check every 3–6 months for wear during regular use.
- Tighten Screws: Ensure all screws are secure. Tighten any loose screws.
- Inspect Components: Check for signs of corrosion, cracking, or loss of function. Replace any damaged locks immediately.
- Test Movement: Check for excessive movement in lock components. Replace locks with excessive movement.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure windows cannot open more than 100 mm. Consult a licensed tradesperson for advice on window restrictor devices if necessary.
