1930's signed Foster company compact. Picture does show some faults. Do not know what the picture is made of. Perhaps just painted Nice flower brass design around edges of compact.  All latches, hinges, working well. Inside does show some rust (see pictures.). Patent number is 1973433. Black backing I believe is painted metal.
