Skirt and scarf are vintage, but I am not sure of time frame.  Also no country of origin listed.  If the 40 label refers to size it points to a European country.

The skirt has gentle pleating and has buttonholes with buttons on both sides.  Buttons do not match.  No pockets.  The size of the skirt has been adjusted by prior owner by moving the buttons.  There is still space to expand the skirt to approximately a 28” waist.

The embroidery at the bottom of the skirt is geometric and appears to be machine stitched.  Embroidery on scarf matches the skirt.  The scarf is 19 1/2” wide and is 61” in length with a 4” fringe.  Total length including fringe is approximately 69”.

Embroidery is geometric and is yellow, green, blue and red.

Nicely tailored set.
