In 1977, he became the first Japanese rock artist to perform at Budokan, and in 1978 he performed at Korakuen Stadium, and with his book ``Nari-Agari,'' he created a huge ``Yazawa boom.'' In 2007, they held an unprecedented 100 performances at Budokan. In 2008, they took a hiatus from concert activities for the first time in 37 years. This year, as he turns 60, he held a hugely successful performance at Tokyo Dome on September 19th.
