The “Goonies Treasure Map” replica prop is a MUST have affordable artifact to add to any decor, becoming a great conversation piece! With hundreds sold worldwide, it makes a unique gift for that Goonies fan on your list or for the person who has it all.

It is large, highly detailed, and worthy of framing. The back of this map has the musical notes as seen in the motion picture, just one of the many hidden clues, which show the Goonies the way to “One-Eyed Willy's” treasure. The edges have been burned off with REAL FIRE for added authenticity. The back of it also has been aged to match the front. It is professionally printed using dye-sublimation printing on double sided; high-quality rigid premium; acid free THICK MUSEUM BOARD (NOT PAPER) that has been aged in layers using various computerized techniques. The feel of the thick museum board and texture are that of a very old map. All design lines and text were created using a vector-based graphics program for clear and sharp images. The map is creased to make it easier to fold, while the other lines offer to find more information hidden within the map itself! If you want to display the map closed (folded), you will need to place a small amount of tape on the inside and back flaps since it is not made of paper and has "memory" it will pop open due to its heavy thickness. Lastly in order to protect the image and colors, it has a slight sheen to it that according to the paper manufacturer, will last well over 100 years without fading.

This magnificent map will arrive at your doorstep pre-folded as shown in the second photo. Since it is hand finished with real fire, each map will vary very slightly. This replica prop is proudly made in the U.S.A. Feel free to email me with any questions that you may have. This item ships WORLDWIDE with tracking provided.

If you plan on framing this marvelous replica prop, here are some recommendations. When the map is fully open, it measures about 17.5" (45CM) wide X 11.5" (30CM) tall. For a more dramatic approach, I recommend an 18" X 24" frame, available anywhere. This frame size will give the map more breathing room and a dramatic appearance. You will end up with about 3" all the way around. As for the frame, my color of choice would be black, to match the many detailed lines and burnt char effects along the perimeter. Lastly for the matte board background on where the map will rest, there are three color combinations depending on the look you want to achieve. The first is a plain white background, which will make the map pop. The second choice is a black background, which will give it a more mysterious and dramatic appearance. The final look is the bold look, which places the map on a red background that matches the red lines. No matter what look you decide to do, the final outcome will seem like it belongs in a museum.
