Steps1?? Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Steps2?? Disconnect the air duct and any vacuum hoses or electrical connectors from the OEM throttle

body.

Steps3??If the Throttle body on your vehicle has water lines to it make sure the engine is cool before removing any water hoses. Crimp the rubber lines to reduce water/coolant spillage.

Steps4?? Remove the screws that mount the stock throttle body to the intake manifold, depending on the application this may be 3 or 4 mounting screws, nuts or bolts that need to be removed.

Steps5?? Install the throttle body onto the intake manifold using the stock screws, nuts or bolts that you removed previously.

Steps6?? Reconnect any vacuum hoses, electrical connectors or water lines that you removed previously.

Steps7?? Reconnect the air inlet ducting.

Steps8??Reconnect the negative battery cable.

Steps9?? Start the engine and allow it to idle for approximately 20 minutes to allow the Engine management system to relearn the new throttle body. Don’t rev the engine during this time.

Steps10?? After the idle procedure is complete drive the vehicle for a period of 50 to 100 miles to allow the system to complete the relearn procedure. During this time you may notice a higher or lower idle than normal, this is OK and will subside once the relearn is complete.

Steps11?? If you get a check engine light after the above relearn is complete, disconnect the battery and repeat steps 9 and 10.
