Just out of a local smoke free house is this nicely decorated Mid Century vase, decanter, or pitcher possibly made by Accolay pottery in France. The vase has a colorful incised stylized bird decoration. It measures about 11 1/16 inches high, about 9 1/2 inches at its widest, and about 6 1/2 inches deep. The decanter is not signed except for an impressed R on the bottom, but is similar to another Accolay vase listed on 1st Dibs for over $1,000. That one has a similar form and somewhat similar incised bird decoration. Whether it is Accolay or not we will leave it to the buyer. It has alover crazing and there are chips on the spout.
