I'm not 100% this case is from the 60s, but it screams 1965 to me.  It's in great shape apart from the expected fabric fade on the interior.   There is a green ink stain on the pocket and two blemishes on the mirror (pictured).  Exterior stitching and hinges are perfect, as is handle and hardware.  The clamps fasten well and presumably can lock, but there are no keys, and the case cannot be accidentally locked without them.  The sturdy build weighs 2kg (under 6lb).  Here's the AI description:
