Here is a fantastic very rare signed unpublished one of a kind original 3" by 4" comic art illustration drawing by Don Flowers depicting an attractive woman marching in military uniform, created for the 150th anniversary of West Point Academy. That year, the National Cartoonists Society invited top comic illustrators to create one-panel humorous comics on the then-improbable subject of West Point becoming co-ed. This is Don Flowers' contribution. It has never published or distributed. Don Flowers (1908–1968) was an American cartoonist best known for his syndicated panel Glamor Girls. Flowers was noted for his fluid ink work, prompting Coulton Waugh to write that Flowers displayed "about the finest line ever bequeathed to a cartoonist. It dances; it snaps gracefully back and forth; the touches related." Very rare.
