Vintage 1950/60's Murano sculptural glass shell bowl made by Archimede Seguso pictured in photos 1-3 & 12-24
The colour is sort of brown with hint purple so a bit like aubergine.
Has an encased very precise controlled bubble effect known as 'a bolle'. The identical shell bowls in the screenshots pictured in photos 4-11 were made by Archimede Seguso and each had the remains of a scalloped Archimede Seguso label on their base hence my confident attribution
Dimensions: Measures approx 1.5 inches tall by 3.25 long
Condition -movement wear to base and two bubbles burst through the surface of the base when it was made plus a tiny sharp to the touch surface mark can be felt at the shell endpoint but this is so small it is impossible to spot except in extreme eye close up so does not detract from great display - see photos
