The Ju-88 G6 modification was a further development of a heavy night fighter based on the Ju-88 bomber. The fighter was equipped with the latest electronic equipment to search for a target, and powerful weapons, consisting of "Schrage musik", MG 151/20 cannons and an MG 131 machine gun, left the enemy aircraft with little chance to escape. So on the night of March 16-17, 1945, Erich Jung in the skies of Nuremberg on his Ju-88 G6 destroyed 8 British bombers in 20 minutes of battle.
