This rare hardcover edition of Moby Dick by Herman Melville is a must-have for any book collector or literature enthusiast. Published by Grosset & Dunlap in 1930, this vintage book features a movie sleeve and is in its original English .

This version was released in support of the 1930 movie version of Moby Dick, starring John Barrymore. The sleeve depicts the movie poster, and is in good shape considering it is nearly a 100 years old. The binding is still very good considering the age, no pages missing or falling out. Other than my grandfather writing his name in the second page top corner of the book, it is in very nice shape. The back of the book under the book cover does show some discoloration. I don't know what this is due to. Please look at all pictures and ask any questions. I really have never seen this version on eBay before. My grandfather was an avid reader, and I inherited a lot of his books. Book will be carefully packaged to avoid any damage. Thank you for looking, and have a great day.
