The Pyronix Deltabell-E external wired sounder uses a nickel metal hydride (Ni-MH) 7.2 volt rechargeable battery pack. The XCELPLUS Extended Life model is our high capacity battery rated at 400mAh. The Extended Life model doesn't require replacing for the next 5-6 years.
The XCELPLUS Standard model rated at 250mAh is also suitable for your Pyronix bell box, but may only offer 3-4 years life depending on the frequency of use and operating temperature.
The XCELPLUS Extended Life and Standard model batteries are compatible with the Pyronix Deltabell-E / Plus siren bell box.
The XCELPLUS Extended Life is the highest capacity battery available on the market and unlike regular batteries, it's produced using the high capacity 400mAh nickel metal hydride (NiMH) rechargeable cells.

XCELPLUS are the only producer of Pyronix batteries to include a PTC
resettable fuse, used to protect against over-current faults or reverse
polarity insertion. All batteries can leak acid when they're depleted
for long periods if gone unchecked. PTC resettable fuses prevent
further damage to the control panel from short-circuit faults caused by
battery acid. As of 2014 all batteries sold by XCELPLUS now feature this
vital protection.
