For sale is a rare Wallin Peg-Board set, models A (19207, square pegs) and B (19208, round pegs), produced by the Stoelting Company in Chicago. These were used for the Wallin test as well as the Stutsman test.
Undated but likely from the 1920s to 1940s.
Boards measure about 14" in length and 3" in width and each comes in its original box; undersides of the lids have labels printed for each board along with it's catalog number. Pegs measure about 2 1/2"; Board A is complete with all six round pegs but Board B has only five present with one missing/not included. Each board is embossed on one side with a circle containing the Stoelting Co. trade mark surrounding the test board letter (A and B).
These are constructed of solid, sturdy wood, with slight beveling at top edges; tops and sides are stained but the underside is bare.
Good/Very good vintage/antique condition - some wear and markings to box surfaces and edges but no breakages in sides or corners. Boards look very good overall with some scuffs and scratches as shown.
