This is a pre-owned Insignia DVD/VCR Combp Player, model # IS-DVD040924.

This unit is being solid as a “For Parts Unit”.

It does power up.

The DVD drawer opens and closes.

The player appears to work,

The VHS Dock accepts and ejects VHS tapes.

It plays, fast fowards, rewinds, etc.

When I ejected my copy of Easy RIder, the tape was caught inside,

and ended up splitting in half.

Also the video and sound (so probably the board) were garbled and distorted.

The casing also has some deep scratches, and on dent on the top. (See Photos)

To recap, this unit is for parts, and does have a good power supply.

This might be the unit to rebuild. It could be switching out the audio/video board,

and knowing how to tweet the VHS player.
