This is a beautiful unique vintage 1950's/1960's Navajo sterling silver turquoise squash blossom necklace. This squash blossom necklace features 17 bezel-set high dome cut turquoise cabs ranging in size from 1/2 inch by 7/16 inch to 1 1/8 inches to 5/8 inch with each surrounded by a unique design consisting of cut and rounded half dome wire. The necklace has a total of 154 handmade 1/4-inch bench sterling beads all strung on heavy foxtail wire with a hook closure. The bead length is 30 inches and the Naja measures 3 1/4 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide. It weighs a substantial 12.74 ounces or 361 grams. The back is unmarked so the silversmith is unknown. The metal acid tests for sterling silver. It is in MINT condition with heavy patina. Add this amazing vintage squash blossom necklace to your collection.
