CINDERELLA
 1965 Re-Release Theatrical Folded Six-Sheet Movie Poster (6sh; measures 84" x 84" [213 x 213 cm])

Description: Walt Disney's Cinderella, the classic 1950 Clyde Geronimi & Wilfred Jackson Walt Disney animated family romantic musical fairy tale fantasy cartoon ("Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo! It's Magic!"; "It's Fun!"; "Greatest since 'Snow White'"; "A love story with music"; "For All the World to Love!"; "The world's best-loved story... spun of dreams and laughter and love... woven into the wondrous picture only Walt Disney could create!"; based on the story by Charles Perrault) featuring the voices of Ilene Woods (in the title role as Cinderella), Eleanor Audley, Verna Felton, Claire Du Brey, James MacDonald, Louis Van Rooten, and Don Barclays

Important Added Info: Note that the poster measures 84" x 84", not 81" x 81". This was something that Disney was experimenting with at this time, and several titles were made that size. The experiment was likely abandoned due to complaints by movie theaters that put the posters into six-sheet frames, and these slightly oversized posters didn't fit! Also note that this six-sheet was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap.

Overall Condition: very good

Notable Defects: There is some darkening on the back of the part of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded. There are some creases and several tears along the folds that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded. There are some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on some folds, and some tiny paper loss at some crossfolds.

What does this condition grade mean?
This item has survived in pretty nice condition, but has some relatively minor imperfections. If they are within the image, they are not very distracting at all, or they may be in the blank borders, where they will not show when the item is displayed. We may have written a few words about those imperfections, but we may not have, as they are relatively minor, and you can likely see them by looking at our "super-sized" hi-res image of the actual item above (if they are the type that CAN'T be seen in our super-sized image, like faint water staining or tape on the back, we ALWAYS describe that in words).

**Please note that I do not accept returns, unless the poster sent to you was from a different movie, or the same movie but not the one in the picture. There may be small imperfections, but this is common amongst older posters. If you want a 100% perfect version of this posters, there are vendors that sell reproductions, but they are generally 24x36 or some different measurement that will look different than a legit original one, which would be 27x40” for U.S. films. And the reproductions hold almost no resale value in most cases. If you are purchasing a Scarface poster to put on the wall of your dorm room unframed, and don’t expect to take it with you when you finish, a reproduction is probably fine. But if you want a rare, finite piece of film history that doubles as an investment, an original poster is without question what you’re looking for. Also, be careful when shopping for posters on eBay. Some vendors who sell reproductions use clever phrases to dance around the fact that they’re selling fakes, and will try to pass off their products inferior product as an original. As a general rule for U.S. “one sheet” posters, if it’s not 27”x40”, give or take an inch, it’s fake.**
**Posters will be sent in a carefully and securely packed cardboard tube, to ensure that it arrives in the same condition as it left. Thanks for checking out my listing!!! I’ll be adding more soon so check my page to see if there’s any other posters that may interest you.**
