We will not send any rig that we wouldn't be willing to use ourselves.

The long standing "staple" in many anglers rig safes, the Ronnie Rig or Spinner Rig as some know it.
This rig has accounted for many big Carp and Catfish all over the world. Made with a Stiff boom section to kick the bait away from the lead, this is also anti tangle. In the event of an aborted take the rig will simply reset itself ready for the next bite. The mechanics of the rig give the hook movement a whole 360 degrees so its always in the right position to work effectively no matter what way the fish approaches your bait. Designed to be used with wafter baits or pop ups this rig is sure to put more fish on the bank.

This particular rig is what many of the Korda anglers have used in many of the Masterclass series of films.

This rig is ideal to use all year around, some people use a couple of bits of fake corn, fake maize, tigernuts etc, or a pop up with some maggots on some floss (Very good winter tactic) or pop up a tigernut by drilling it out and using a bit of cork.

I offer this rig in many different variations from clear boom, Black boom for fishing silt or a new Camo boom. The clear and black boom is amnesia which some argue is better than Korda Boom because its memory free you dont need steam to straighten it if it gets kinked etc, simply pull on each end and its good to go again.
I also offer this rig with a range of shrink tube colours, Black (standard) Green, Red, Yellow and White. Korda proved on the recent Masterclass series that Carp will often go to investigate bright colours and you can nick a quick bite. Please note: The shrink tubing will be black unless specified.

This particular rig also comes with a option of hooks, Curve Shank, Crank, Wide Gape and Claw style. All of which are tried and tested patterns

This rig comes with a option of either terminating in a loop or a size 8 rolling swivel.

This rig is Crimped/ Krimped at both ends using 0.6mm Double barrel crimps (not single barrel which can fail on some boom materials)

If you are using pop ups you may need to add a bit of putty around the crimp to counteract the buoyancy. Ideally you want the rig to fall slowly through the water so it will sit on top of any debris or silt on the bottom.

Rig putty is NOT provided.

Optimal rig usage / tips

Designed to be mainly used with a pop up boilie, you should test the rig in the margin to ensure it sits correctly. What you are aiming for is for the hook section to fall slowly through the water and come to settle on the bottom with the hook section sitting upright. It may be necessary to add a bit of rig putty around the crimp to counter act the buoyancy of the bait (or trim your boilie down so it sits just right). Different boilies will have different buoyancy (even some out of the same pot) so it is always worth checking prior to casting out. If you are using a wafter, you want the hook to lay flat on the bottom with the wafter hovering just above it. If the wafter lifts the hook simply trim it down with some scissors so you can get the presentation perfect.) In the winter months using a pop up with some maggots is very effective.
