Pike-class submarines

Pike-class submarines are a series of medium-sized submarines built in the USSR in the 1930s and 1940s. Distinctive features of the boats were comparative low cost of construction, increased maneuverability and survivability. “Pikes” actively participated in the Great Patriotic War; out of 44 boats that fought, 31 were lost.

Shch-311 "Kumzha" is a Soviet diesel-electric torpedo submarine from the Second World War, belongs to the V-bis 2 series of the Shch - "Pike" project. It was part of the Baltic Fleet, the most effective during the Soviet-Finnish war.
