I've been collecting and selling Alexis Bittar for a very long time. MANY FAKE ITEMS ARE SIGNED AND MANY AUTHENTIC ITEMS ARE NOT SIGNED.. So if your only thinking signed items are authentic…unfortunately you have been misinformed🙃! However If that's your belief....THEN PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE AN UNSIGNED ITEM. It won’t all of a sudden get a signature on its way to you…. (Detail about The hallmarking of each item is usually in the item info!! And if possible I include a true stock photo of the front & back! As well as a pic of both sides of the item I’m selling. Note many sellers are creating AI generated “stock” photos. Where they use the site photo or content model yet add their item, instead of showing you what the genuine product looks like.)
💙💙💙For a extra tidbit of useful Bittar knowledge there are many UNSIGNED AUTHENTIC ITEMS... and surprisingly there are tons of knock-off’s that are signed … so it’s definitely not a rule of thumb to go by….. at least with Alexis Bittar jewelry… (and many of the fakes are hallmarked incorrectly…meaning the real pair may be hallmarked AB while the knockoffs are hallmarked Alexis Bittar. Or vice versa. A quick and easy way is to look at the backside or the inside of the item to see what the material is . With the exception of his clear lucite Usually the backside is gold hand painted, black enamel or a sparkly whitish. And the few collections with colored enamel ! Another way is to check the size of the item, the actual color or shade, materials and the actual design can reflect each item’s authenticity best! Theres usually a notable difference. You might just need to know what to look for. (Most often the colors of the accents and size are off. And obviously the materials, quality and craftsmanship are very different!)
