Common Uses: Cape May, also known as Confetti Bush and Wild Buchu, can help to reduce stress, anxiety and negative thoughts. It may assist in easing the aches and pains of cold and flu and relieving sore throats. Its chemical constituents also credit it with being antiseptic, deodorant, sedative and restorative. Gentle as a diuretic, Cape May was also found to be a gentle detoxifier. A useful support for haemorrhoids, cellulite, varicose veins, for inflammation, and joint and muscle pain.

It was traditionally used by fishermen to remove odour from their hands. It is also a useful insect repellent, simply dab on on the body in a carrier oil to keep mosquitoes away or burn in an oil burner/diffuser as an insect repellent.
