HQC Stabilising Primer is a water-based primer specially designed to seal unstable areas that remain powdery or chalky after surface preparation. Ideal for prepping old walls before re-skimming, it deeply penetrates dusty, chalky, and weathered areas to bind and stabilise the surface before over-coating.

Suitable for brick, stone, render, concrete, plaster, pebble-dash, stucco, and existing painted surfaces — for both interior and exterior use. Ready to use straight from the container with no mixing required.

Ensure all surfaces are dry, clean, and in good condition. Remove any loose material, dust, or debris before applying.

Apply the primer straight from the container — no mixing required. Apply generously by brush, roller, or spray to all powdery or chalky areas.

Allow to dry fully — 60–90 minutes. The milky appearance will disappear completely as the primer dries clear.

Once fully dry and clear, apply your chosen HQC topcoat for a durable, long-lasting finish.

We manufacture in 1,000L batches — please order enough to complete your project. Consistency cannot be guaranteed if you reorder later.

All orders are shipped on a next day service. We aim to dispatch same day, however orders placed after 1pm may not ship until the following day.

All orders are shipped in up to 5L tins due to carrier restrictions. Any 10L or 20L orders will be shipped as multiples of 5L tins.
