Here is a very rare very early vintage original autographed 7" by 9" photo of theater actress Bessie Bacon Allen (1886-1952), from her prime in the late 1910s. Stage actress. Bessie began her stage career at age four, and toured the country, playing roles in her father's plays. She and her second husband, Matthew Allen, originated the idea of bringing live shows to Army camps, to entertain the troops, during World War 1. Corner and edge wear. Very rare.
